DOE Student Contest Rewards Energy Innovators and Entrepreneurs (video)

Nobel prize winner and U.S. Energy Secretary Steven Chu has announced a new $2 million student contest to foster clean energy innovation, known as the National University Clean Energy Business Challenge. The idea is to create a network of six regional competitions for student energy inventors, and the winners will compete for a National Grand Prize in early summer 2012. The contest joins the Solar Decathlon as DOE sponsored energy contests for students.
